Tallaght Rugby over the weekend

TallaghtRugbyCrest

Last weekend Tallaght Rugby had a lot of games, The senior men’s team played in Monkstown, the ladies and under 12 went to DLSP and are poor under 10’s had to travel all the way to Dundalk to play there first blitz of the season.

With the men playing on the Saturday starting of the weekend they had a fantastic win over Monkstown winning out 40 vs 7. This result been one of the highest scoring games for Tallaght Men’s.

The Ladies team then played DLSP on Sunday as did the Under 12’s. With the ladies been very unlucky to be beaten 15 vs 10 and the Under 12’s coming away with a draw. Both games fantastic to watch, plus are under 10’s played 4 games in the blitz playing great rugby and scoring lots of trys.

Overall a great weekend of rugby for Tallaght and we are looking for many more. Stay tuned for fixtures for next weekend.

Tallaght Rugby Weekend

This weekend Tallaght Senior team went to MU Barnhall for there second game this season. A hard fought battle between these two teams. It was a pity a team had to lose this game but Tallaght went down 30 vs 20. Fantastic game of rugby and Congrats to MU Barnhall on the victory. See you again soon in the season.

2 Trys from Colm, 1 convertion and 1 penalty from Brain

Other news, Tallaght under 12’s welcomed Terenure rfc and Clondalkin rfc for a blitz today. With the great weather and crowd to boot, we were all in for a treat with the rugby that was on display. With this group of kids playing I don’t think the All Black would have beat them. Irelands future is bright with all this talent coming up. Thank you to both teams for a great day

Sad News

TallaghtRugbyCrest

Yesterday Tallaght RFC got the sad news that our very own Lisa Maguire’s mother passed away. The club would like to send its deepest sympathy’s to the family and friends. We are all thinking of you in this difficult time.

The sun shines down upon us
and gives us warmth and light.
Then when the day has ended
it disappears from sight.

Though we’re left in darkness,
we know the sun’s not died,
for it is shining brightly
on the world’s other side.

So it is when one we love
comes to their end of days.
They just go to the other side
to shine their loving rays.

That’s why heaven is a place
that glows beyond compare.
The lights of those who’ve left us
are all brightly shining there.
