Tallaght’s 12’s Team traveled away on Sunday 29th of March to take on a very strong Ratoath team in a friendly match.
Although Tallaght were light on squad numbers due to various reasons it did not stop a great game of rugby in some very bad weather conditions.

Captain Adam Kenny opened up the scoreboard for Tallaght with a run from our own 22, his first of 3 Trys for the match, This was soon followed by another two from Josh O’Neill who as always battled for every ball with determination, Vice Captain Nicole Fanning rounded off Tallaght’s scores with a try that most adults team could not get over the line.

Some serious tackling today and amazing passages of play with Keeva, Adam, Eoin, Sam, Dj, Eoin all proving Tallaght are a force to be reckoned with.
Unfortunately we lost out half Rory due to injury during a try saving tackle, this was a huge blow to the team… But they never gave up.
The final score did not go our way 8-6 but when we meet Ratoath at home 12th April in the league, We have a real match on our hands, a big thank you to Ratoath for a fantastic day.
As always we are super proud of you all

One last thing, the referee asked me to mention, he was very impressed with the conduct and discipline of you all and said you were a pleasure to referee. Well done to all players, coaches and parents.

Enjoy your easter holidays

Don’t stop Believing!
