Tallaght Rugby is back this weekend after the summer break.
The men’s first team are back in action first with the third staging of the Philip Preston Trophy as they take on Guinness RFC. The legend that was “Bisto” Preston left us all too soon three years ago and the game is played in his memory as he was a stalwart of both clubs on and off the field. This is the first time the game will be played in Tallaght after previously being held in the Iveagh Grounds. Kick off is 12.30 on Pitch 100 opposite Firhouse Community College and afterwards both teams will go to the nearby Old Mill pub to have refreshments and watch the England v Ireland match.
All are welcome especially the friends and family of “Bisto”.
