Happy New Year!

After the Christmas break Tallaght RFC are back in business this weekend beginning with a local derby.

On Saturday the Tallaght men’s first team are at home to Clondalkin in the Metro League Division 7. Their local rivals did them a favour last weekend when they beat AIB. They means Tallaght are a point head of AIB and level with leaders Clontarf but with a game in hand on both. With Clontarf away to AIB this weekend, Tallaght have a great chance to return to the top of the table but they need to be wary of Clondalkin whose form have improved since Tallaght beat them at the start of the season. Kick-off is at 2.30 in Tymon Park.

On Sunday the women’s team take on leaders Naas who’ve only lost once all season. But Tallaght come into the match with the feelgood factor of a win in their last match at home to Athy. Kick-off in Forenaughts is 1AM.

In the youths there is training for Bisto’s ladies Friday at 6.30 at St Marys. On Sunday there is training for the minis at Firhouse Community College at 10am and the older youths from 10.30AM.

Please make your best effort to get out and support all our teams.
