WOW what a fantastic evening in Kilnamanagh.

Thank you to everyone who took part in our first Rugby On Your Green in Kilnamanagh and our first one of Summer 2015. There was a fantastic turn out in the area. All the children that took part showed that Tallaght has fantastic rugby potential and the coaches could already see the potential in our possible new recruits.

There was over 60 children that took part in the event on the green area at St Kevin’s national school. Children were split into 4 age groups, which initially started with groups of 8/10 children but with a steady stream of children arriving the numbers continued to grow throughout the evening, making all groups increase to nearly 15 children in each.

The response from the local community was fantastic and Tallaght Rugby were made to feel extremely welcome in the area.

Thank you to all our coaches and helpers who made this all possible. The games and activities were really well received by all involved. And the evening ended in the biggest game of Tallaght charge ever seen.

We hope to see all the kids back next Thursday at 7pm when we are back in Kilnamanagh and most importantly next September when we are back for the new rugby season.
