Tallaght RFC are always welcoming new players, from those who have played rugby before or others who have not. While players and supporters are out and about in Tallaght and surrounding areas they are always inviting people to training for the ladies men’s and youth teams.
On Friday some of our fantastic supporters Mairead, Karena and Sabhdh while in St Dominic’s shops stopped a large well dressed lad who looked like he could handle himself and would not look out of place on the rugby pitch. They found he was not playing for a team at the moment they wasted no time in asking him to join Tallaght RFC.
Rumors have it that this lad is still in his prime but is just getting over an injury and would consider joining once he has recovered from his injury. Unfortunately a job in France didn’t work out for the new player but would love to line out for one of Dublin’s youngest teams.
As proof of signing the ladies got the typical new player signing picture with the team gear and uploaded it straight away. Of course this picture is legally binding under Tallaght Rugby law and we cant wait to meet the new player on Tuesday and Thursday evening at 7pm. He likes to be called Paul, we call him the new lad.
