The Tallaght’s men’s team travelled to Ardee in Metro Division 8. James and Daniel Boland, playing their first senior games for Tallaght, both scored tries and their cousin Luke Maher converted one of them to give Tallaght a 12-3 lead at halftime. But Ardee were stronger in the second half scoring two tries and converting one to make take a 15-12 lead. Tallaght briefly regained the lead with a Jordan Corrigan try to lead 17-15 but Ardee hit back with a try to win the match 20-17.
