Tallaght’s women’s were well beaten by league leaders Portlaoise in Division 4 of the Women’s League. Portlaoise scored the first try of the game but then Tallaght hit back with a try by Ann Meenagh which was converted by Caoimhe Hogan. Unfortunately that was the highlight of the day for Tallaght as Portlaoise scored another four tries to lead 29-7 at half-time. Tallaght started the second half better and stemmed the scoring but then Portlaoise started scoring again and they scored another four converted tries to run our 57-7 winners.
