al-2 The Tallaght St. Stephen’s day game has been a tradition for a number of years now thanks to our great friend Shay McHugh who helped organise a game out in Monkstown RFC each of the last seven years.

But this year, Tallaght RFC will be hosting its very own St. Stephen’s day challenge match this year at our new ground – pitch 100, on the Firhouse Rd.

However the game will be played in the same festive spirit and is open to all – past and present members, young and old, male and female. So pull out those old boots and if you want to wear a onesie or a silly costume, you’re more than welcome to!

Kick off is at 12 noon and the teams on the day will be based loosely on the theme of ‘Tallaght Natives’ vs. ‘Non-natives’ in what is sure to be a competitive and spirited game. Here are some pictures of the type of nonsense masquerading as rugby which has gone on in previous years!!!
