It’s been a tough week as we’ve had to deal with the fallout of our Tymon Park pitch being vandalised yet again. The pitch will get the rest of the month to recover but the rugby goes on. Massive thanks to Stillorgan-Rathfarnham RFC who quickly stepped up to host our men’s 1sts team Leinster League Division 3 match this Sunday against Clane. So kick-off is at 3PM at Heavey Technology Park.

Thanks also to Newbridge RFC who have agreed to host this weekend’s scheduled Women’s home game next Friday night, the 21st at 8PM. The men’s seconds team’s scheduled fixture away to CYM was conceded by Tallaght due to a lack of playing numbers.

In the youths at 9am on Sunday the Tallaght Under 8s play their first ever competitive game at St Brigids! The Wolves girls under-16s are away to Clontarf at 11.30AM on Saturday and the South Dublin Lions girls under-13s are away to Suttonians at 11.30AM on Sunday.

Despite the latest setback rugby in Tallaght is here to stay so please make an extra effort to get out and support our senior and junior teams this weekend.
